Windham & Windsor Housing Trust and HomeShare Vermont launched a partnership to bring this long-standing program to our Southeast region of the state in 2025. Since the launch, one of our Homeownership Specialists has become fully trained in the program and has already set up matches in our region. A “match” is a highly structured written agreement between the “host” – the person who has extra space in their home to share- and the “guest”- the person looking for a shared living opportunity- on how the space will be shared, what rent is, and what services are included.
